 Ford C6

The C6 transmission was introduced in 1966 and was used by Ford for everything from massive Lincolns, to 4×4 trucks and Cobra Jet Torino’s. These are large and strong transmissions that can take much abuse when properly modified. If you need a seriously strong Automatic Transmission for your Ford, a C6 is worth consideration. Gear ratios are: 2.46 1st gear, 1.46 2nd gear and 1.00 3rd gear. Overall length is 33 ½ inches, face to mount distance is 22 3/8 inches

### Special low gear planetary sets are available for both the HD and SS models. Ratios are 2.72 1st gear, 1.54 second gear and 1.00 3rd gear. Add $360.5 to transmission price.

#PTC6HD

This is our Heavy Duty C-6 transmission built for light trucks and passenger cars requiring a stronger than stock transmission for light towing or everyday driving requirements. Clutch pack capacity is increased and valve body is modified for improved shifts and lube transfer. Transmission includes our Torque Max torque converter in stall speeds up to 1800 rpm. Available for most Ford engines and applications.

#PTC6SS

This is our Street/Strip version of the C-6 built for higher output applications up to 450HP. This trans features improved servo design, modified valve body, increased clutch capacity and lube mods to insure trouble free high performance fun . Includes our Torque Max torque converter in stall speeds up to 2400 rpm. Available for most Ford engines and applications.

Ford C4

The C4 transmission was introduced in 1964 and was used in everything from Mustangs and Galaxies to Econoline Vans and Light Duty Pickup Trucks up to it’s final incarnation as the C5 in the early 80’s. The C4 trans is very compact but very durable and has a long standing reputation for strength in a small package. We can supply all varieties of C4 including both case and pan filled models, V-8 and 6 cylinder applications as well as early and late variations. In addition we build custom Torque converters for the C-4 in all sizes and stall speeds right here in our facility and like our transmissions, are custom matched to each application.

The perfect choice for a stock style replacement trans or for engines that are mildly modified. These transmissions are built with improved shifts, better oiling and pump output. Comes with our own heavy duty torque converter with tig reinforced internals with stall speeds up to 1800rpm. Perfect choice for a Mustang restoration or mild Street Rod.

Built for modified engines up to 350HP this transmission has high capacity clutch packs, increased capacity servo, modified valve body ,and increased pump output. Our Torque Max torque converter with hardened splines and hub and fully tig welded internals in stall speeds up to 2400rpm is also included. Great for warmed up small blocks and occasional strip outings.

** C4 transmissions are sold without bellhousing. We can provide either a new or used bellhousing if required at additional charge.


 

Ford AODE/4R70W

The AODE/4R70W is the next generation AOD and its strength, function, gear ratios and computer control make it the ultimate overdrive automatic for Ford powered vehicles using the Winsor, 4.6 and 5.4 modular engines as well as the new Coyote engine.

Overall Length 31 3/16 , Face to mount distance 23 5/16”, Ratios: 1st 2.84, 2nd 1.55, 3rd 1.00, 4th .70

#PTAODESS/4R70W

This is the fully computer controlled version of the AOD which does away with the T.V. cable and allows the user to custom tune shift points, shift firmness and lock up points from in the cockpit without a laptop or PC thanks to the included COMPUSHIFT transmission controller. This transmission is rated to 425 horsepower and has upgraded valve body, internal electronics, clutch packs, bands and servos for outstanding performance and durability. Transmission includes Torque Max converter with stall speed up to 2500RPM.

#PTAODESX/4R70W

This is our strongest version of the AODE/4R70W and incorporates all of the SS model modifications in addition to a mechanical diode sprag assembly , extra capacity overdrive band, increased capacity clutch packs, additional valve body and durability modifications, and special intermediate shaft. This trans also includes our 2300-2500 stall Torque Max torque converter and is available with optional stall speeds up to 4500 if needed .This trans and converter are rated to 500HP and 550lbs of torque and include the pre programmed Compushift computer system which allows easy adjustment of shift points and lockup without a laptop or PC hookup.

( Also available without COMPUSHIFT if installing with a factory or other aftermarket computer.)
